My illustrations began with a fascination with pre-20th-century botanical drawings by Brecht and Maria Sibylla Merian. Much like any artist who practices a set of techniques over time, my illustration style and subject matter have continued to shift and grow. Each illustration has been created with care and joy, from flowers to birds to my characters.
