Abstract Paintings

While being trained in various visual arts mediums, oil painting is the most fulfilling.  From Impressionism to Abstract Expressionism, my oil paintings are an extension of my personality, mood, and direction at a given time.  Most of my works are created using an Impasto method, whether it be by a brush or palette knife.  The contrast between soft brushwork and harsh palette knife application creates a dynamic yet visceral composition full of calm and chaos, excitement followed by a breath.
